چکیده

PurposePre-transplant antiphospholipid antibodies (aPLab), including anticardiolipin (aCL) and anti-B2 glycoprotein-I (aB2GPI), may be associated with thrombotic complications graft loss in kidney liver transplant recipients. The objective of this study was to evaluate the prevalence impact aPLab on post-operative bleeding lung recipients.MethodsThis a single center retrospective cohort patients who were evaluated transplanted between 1/1/2018-11/30/20. All candidates screened for aPLab. We compared arterial venous events, treated as combined endpoint, recipients without (Fisher's exact test). Sarcoidosis, race, and short-term outcomes following lung transplantation.

BACKGROUND Patients with sarcoidosis, many of whom are African American, may require lung transplantation (LT). Little is known about survival following LT for sarcoidosis. OBJECTIVE To determine short-term mortality following LT for sarcoidosis, to evaluate if survival after LT for sarcoidosis is similar to outcomes after LT for other diseases, and to investigate the impact of race on the re...

Long-term outcomes following alemtuzumab induction in lung transplantation.

OBJECTIVES Alemtuzumab is a commonly used induction agent for solid-organ transplantation. Its use in lung transplantation with reduced immunosuppressive regimens, however, has yet to be well characterized. METHODS From November 2006 to March 2008, 20 consecutive lung transplantation patients received alemtuzumab induction with a reduced maintenance immunosuppression regimen. Twenty consecuti...

Antiphospholipid antibodies and renal outcomes in patients with lupus nephritis.

OBJECTIVE Previous studies have documented a high frequency of thrombotic events in lupus nephritis patients with antiphospholipid (aPL) antibodies in the serum, but there is little information on the impact of serum aPL antibodies on the clinical outcome of lupus nephritis. The aims of this study were to evaluate the seroprevalence of aPL antibodies in patients with lupus nephritis and assess ...
